Heat and Smoke

Not sure this is the right category- but, I am looking for suggestions

or comments.

Certainly your subject matter gets our attention. Uncontrolled fire alerts our emotional responses. But perhaps your compositional elements are fighting against themselves. Smoke, heat and fire all say "upward", but your horizontal frame says "quiet, peaceful, tranquil." The chimney is close to central, which is a static location in the image. If it were off center it would be more powerful. You have a few diagonal lines which imply motion and turmoil. If you could have made this a vertical picture, with the chimney in a stronger location with an emphasis upon diagonal lines, it would really be a winner.

Wow, this is a really intense and interesting shot. I like it a lot, composition with the smoke in one corner and fire and the other works very well.
