Old Man Sandi and The Mountain

Although he was half blind he was looking at the mountain like he was

seeing every part of it, even the smallest stone...

He was 79 years old when I met him. His name was Sandi. It was in early April and the weather was around zero and yet he was just with a t-shirt walking in the mountain. He said that this was he doing every day from decays and no mater what the weather is always with just a t-shirt on his back and never got ill. He was a strong man with a strong spirit.The only problem was that he was half blind. He said: " I know that some day I will lose the path because of my eyes, finding my death and that will be the end my journey but until then I will continue to explore the mountain no mater what" And I know that dead or alive he will be doing what he was doing all his life... Exploring the Mountain that he loved...

I think this is an amazing story with an amazing photo which helps tell it. The only thing that stands out to me is that I would like a bit cropped off the top. But the more I look at it, the more I like it as is. Thanks for sharing - Lex
