Daffodil Impressions

Beautiful, so fresh!

This is another successful example for motion blur, very aesthetic !

Very calm and tranquil colors. It can be used as a background for a Windows OS. I was eager to know more about the techniques used to get such an artistic work. Regards.

Thanks for all your comments. My daffodils looked very cheerful on the kitchen windowsill with the sun shining through, but not bright enough to handhold the camera and get a sharp photograph. So this was a compromise.

 

My 'technique' was simply to use a longish shutterspeed- 1/13th at 300mm (small-ish aperture helped achieve this), and then panned upwards following the vertical centre leaf.
