jeffdyck 0 Posted January 31, 2009 An interesting photo Brad. I like the "gloomy" mood of the photo and the juxtaposition of the sharp, symmetrical headstone with the soft, natural lines of the tree. I think the composition would feel more balanced if there was some separation between the top of the foreground headstone and the tree. By shifting your camera a bit to the right it would have also increased the space between the base of the tree and the foreground headstone to better match the complimentary space between the tree and the background headstone. I would think about dodging / locally increasing the contrast on the headstone in the foreground so that the text is more distinct Link to comment
