gungajim 75 Posted January 30, 2009 Fascinating face, Alon. Well done. I'm curious about the blurred effect on the left arm. Did you blur the arm in post processing, shoot it that way or somehow add the arm to the photo? Cheers, GJ Link to comment
Donna Stavis 0 Posted January 30, 2009 Like crack cocain, looks like the picture of addiction with text messeging. Universal signal of head resting on hand. Link to comment

John Peri 1,027 Posted February 3, 2009 A very interesting candid portrait Alon. Truly engrosed in what she is doing. It brings to mind an interesting situation. I do a lot of street photography personally. In France, we can use any photo where the fact that it is taken in a public place is evident, however it becomes illegal when you move in close and it takes on the format of a portrait, which frankly is what I usually do. I had an argument with a very pretty policewoman once who told me that I had no right to photograph her, she is wrong and I politely told her so. There is even a clause in the law specifying photographing public servants in the exercise of their duty. All this has nothing to do with your excellent photo.Forgive me if I got carried away .. alones 1 Posted February 4, 2009 Thank you John :) Yep , I know what you are talking about . From time to time I see photos from old times , And as you said , It's evident of the pass . You can see in there people that are no longer alive , Buildings that are not there any more , Important event of history . All become a nostalgic memoirs with unbelievable value . Never the less , I can understand the will of people for privacy Link to comment
srichardson 0 Posted February 18, 2009 Alon, Great shot. I love the composition, and how it shows the emotions. It sure tells a story of how we communicate these days. Congrats on a nice capture. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted August 2, 2010 Must be your daughter. You have quite a few images of her, and she has learned to relax and have you in the background. I have found the same with Gabriel. There is a bit of the "gosh, he's always pestering me with that camera", but also the "he's like an angel always watching over me". The later is felt, but rarely expressed. Link to comment
