Ginkgo Tree, Backlit

Landrum Kelly

Shot hand-held at maximum aperture with high ISO--not going for high resolution on this day, but simply for color and form.

Although cropped small to be viewable on all monitors, this crop isotherwise the best of the ginkgo shots that I made that day, in myopinion. Other opinions would be most welcome.

Thanks, Walt. It was lunchtime, and I was determined to catch a few autumn shots, so I just opened the lens all the way up, turned up the ISO, and walked around snapping large JPEGs.

Yes, resolution suffered, but this day simply had to be about light and form.
