joes photos1664883286 0 Posted January 27, 2009 One of many taken late in the afternoon of this horse, but the only one that stood out for me. Some people think he should be looking into the frame, but I like the idea of him/her looking out ,theirs a certain sadness about it. Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted January 27, 2009 Hello Joe, Welcome to PN and nice first post. I don't think you do need to have the horse looking at you, this is more documentary than portrait. It must be a hardy beast to go without a rug, or perhaps that's why it's looking a bit whistful. P Link to comment

dandem 1 Posted January 28, 2009 Welcome to PN, Joe. I really like this shot. It has great mood and emotion. The subdued light is really pleasing. I would liked to have seen the horse on the left of the shot looking into the shot in stead of the horse looking out of the picture. Just my opinion. Otherwise. great work, my friend. Regards, Lawrence. Link to comment
joes photos1664883286 0 Posted January 28, 2009 Hi Lawrence, Ya I have been told this before, and I agree to a certain extent, but I think also, it adds to the mood of the shot (breaking the rules) that he's looking out. Its great to get any comment on my first post in PN, thanks Joe Link to comment
