I can't remember if I've said this before or not (my mind is going), but I'm becoming jealous of your black and white work.

Without getting too technical about it, I really love all the opposing angles presented in this photograph. I also love the intensity of her look into the lens.

Well Jim! I don't think you have ever given me such a compliment. My mind is going too but I am 100% sure I would have remembered that one. Strangely I am not fully satisfied with this image. I am not sure why although I do like the way the model interacts with the prop and the way she looks at the camera. I feel I failed here. Maybe a master like you should have taken this.

It is you (an others like Owen) that has shown me that the medium of black and white is a good one. With that in mind, you may see more B&W from me. So thanks a lot for the encouragement.

I think I like what the Lute is wearing...Both of you have gone Luty...or is it Luti...? You both are more than proficient in B&W and incredibly talented/creative as well...

The lead-in with her left leg is perfect....drawing you around and around the frame...with her frame...I never leave the image because those big eyes keep grabbing me back...all the tones white or black and in between are just perfect....Nice..... juan

This is damn near perfect. The composition is outstanding and the tension works. I was originally going to suggest not cropping her left leg but I have changed my mind about that. The crop increases the tension in the image and that is one of the things I love about it. The tonal range is wonderful and the detail in the dark hair is fantastic.

I wish I had taken this one. It is one of your best.

Kind words Owen. I do like it but as I said to Jim, I feel something is missing. Maybe I will play with it and see if I can satisfy myself.
