Larry, I like this image a great deal. Looking at the thumbnail I was expecting paintpots in Yellowstone and so was pleasantly surprised to see desert. Very interesting perspective. I wonder about the time of day and the light qualities working against the image. I enjoyed the strong light and colors in your portfolio. Regards, Brad

Thanks, Brad for your nice comment. Actually, the image was taken in mid-day on a tour where one only gets photos the tourist way. I adjusted the contrast in Photoshop to emphasize the striations in the rocks. This is Canyon De Chelly National Monument in Chinle, Arizona.

Very nice - I could just imagine a red/orange glow on those rocks at a different time of day but I understand the circumstances - Been there - Done that!
