john_fisk 0 Posted January 25, 2009 I love it! Nicely done. Colors are verdant and exposure is just right. You've captured the mood wonderfully. Great job!johnny Link to comment
bhabesh 0 Posted January 26, 2009 Excellent setting, original POV and an attention to details made this an wonderful composition. An apt title enhanced the feel to a great extent. A 7/7 from me. Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted December 1, 2009 It DOES look cooked, but rather savory and rich. This would be a great illustration for a children's book. Well done, man. Link to comment
mike_hitchen 0 Posted December 2, 2009 Is it overcooked? Only if it is not the effect you intended. It is quite clearly an HDR image which, to the purist, would suggest it is overcooked (like overshaprening or applying too much contrast). Although this style of HDR is not something that floats my boat, I suspect that this version is more interesting than a straight photograph would have been. But I find the hard, angular drainpipe running under the 3rd window from the right to be distracting. I agree with Emmanuel that it has that painting-like quality that is great as a book illustration, or blow it up to 24x18 and it could pass as a good oil painting (without all the mess!).
