rarmstrong 0 Posted January 22, 2009 This is early in the morning on an overcast day at 4 degrees F just below the falls. This is the second largest waterfall east of the Mississippi. Please view larger, thank you! Link to comment
timzeipekis 5 Posted January 23, 2009 Another beautiful shot Richard. I like how the treeline curves around and slightly disappears behind the mist. How about those turquoise colored icicles right in the center? Beautiful! Link to comment
rarmstrong 0 Posted January 23, 2009 Hello Tim! I've been playing with these shots tonight. I put up another version with the exposure increased 1.5 stops and some contrast and highlight adjustment. I really want to shoot this at sunrise when it's about 25 degrees warmer so I can set up a tripod and use my Sigma 10-20mm zoom. I also want to shoot the falls as the sun comes up from downstream with my 80-400mm zoom. I know the spot to get the shot that I have in my mind. Now, I just need a clear Saturday morning at 25-30 degrees. That won't be this weekend...more snow is on the way. Thanks for the comment! Best regards, Dick Link to comment
