As the fog was clearing I was shooting away. This is a shot of the

clearing fog as the air temp began to rise to Zero Fahrenheit. It is

always a challenge using trees to determine if a shot is level. Any

tricks?

Excellent shot and beautiful scene. No advice on leveling, but it appears you used the evergreen in photo center as a reference which works well here, since it is the dominate eye catcher of the trees.... Mike

Charles, Another great shot. The fog and frost set the scene well. The trees appear parallel with the view finder-not sure if that is a trick or not. Brad

Nice shot. It Must of been a great adventure getting this photo. I find the one tree obstructing the mountain a little distracting, but thats just me. As for level, some trees grow straight as others don't, I think a photo with all the trees perfectly straight would look very odd. I think your level of this image is perfect. Thanks for posting it.
