I like the way the bluish light delineates the features of the face. However the window is so white and so big that it acts as a trap to draw the eyes away from the human face. I actually would consider cropping the window out altogether and making it a vertical portrait side view.

That's an excellent suggestion! The focal point is really the strands of hair in the light and cropping it as you suggest would do a great job of making that point. Thanks:-)

To me it suggests a science fiction movie. The blue light is kind of otherworldly as if some space ship had just landed outside.
