San Gabriel Mountains

Not quite sure about the foreground. It seems incomplete. The sky is fantastic though.

Yeah, love the sky, not sure about the foreground, either. I think it competes with the sky, and you give both equal footing. I would have gone for more sky. Still a nice image.

I like this too. I think it is pretty hard to develop a really effective composition in the coastal sage scrub habitat, as it is so uniformly dense and brushy. But, all in all, I think you have done a great job balancing sky, distant mountains, and foreground scrub. Nice black and white conversion too. Take care, my friend! Cheers! Chris

The lighting of the trees in the foreground, contrasting against the dark mountains, plus the flow of the sky, enhances the overall Beauty of this Image!!! Overall, Outstanding lighting, tones and contrast... Well Composed and Very Well Done!
