Ross, I really like this shot! I saw some unharvested corn on my drive to Toledo over the holidays and wondered how I could get some shots, but I didn't have time. I like the soft blue of the sky, yellow corn and texture against the pure white snow. Very nice!

Have had my eye on this spot for awhle & yesterday we received another 24 cm. of snow so thought it was time to revisit this spot& am very pleased with the result.Well tomorrow is a big day for your country & I wish & hope for the best for your country. Yes, tomorrow will be quite a day! We certainly have enough issues to keep our new President and his team busy! I'd be happy to keep warm relationships with our good friends to the north! But, the other directions are equally important!

amazing shot; really fun to linger upon. it's like an advancing golden red army, banners and lances high, shields forward. the slight bow in the middle and lightly dappled sky contribute as well. bravo.

I really like this, the simplicity of colour and the composition make this outstanding. I think field corn is a fascinating subject, but I have yet to produce a photo like this.

Hi Ross--I love the concept of this image. Three layers, all terrific together. Love the look of cornstalks in the snow. I hate to nitpick, but I think it's a bit oversharpened...at least there seems to be quite a bit of noise in the sky and when I enlarge the image, there's definitely some artifact. But I still love it.
