You asked for honest critique...here you are. Yes, the place looks eerie, magic, tranquil...the photo HAS to be in B&W of course....Your shot is well composed...BUT, it's just becoming hackneyed. I have seen pictures like this many times...Of course, if I had the chance to shoot sth like this myself, I wouldn't think twice before pressing the shutter. And I would most likely post it here, asking for critique. And even though I got 7/7 and wows from a bunch of people I would still think it's hackeneyed. Because I have seen it many times... cheers,Tomasz.

The posts are jutting out of water? I had to look closely to tell. I enjoy an image with visual clues that let my eye and brain figure out what I'm seeing, but not immediately.

Thank you Tomasz for your honest comment. I agree that this isnt something new and that similar images are often seen. Im glad that you were honest as that help me far better then to just get a "good image" comment. Cheers! Patrick
