lesliejbng 0 Posted January 19, 2009 Thank you for your comments I climbed a 10 + foot snowbank as I could hear the water on the other side. I was up to just about my waist in snow!.I didn't dare try to get down the side with the view for fear of tumbling to a very cold winter dip! Thank you for taking the time to view! thadley 15 Posted January 20, 2009 Lovely image - the color of the water is important to me as a visual contrast to the blanket of white snow. 6/6 Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted January 22, 2009 Excellent exposure! Your white balance looks absolutely perfect too. This is a heck of a good winter scene, and ever so incredibly beautiful. Very nicely seen, captured, and processed. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

lesliejbng 0 Posted January 23, 2009 Thank you all for taking the time to view and comment I do appreciate and value your kind words. Nancy I was up to my waist in snow so I really wasn't going any where :) Thanks for the concern. The color of the water and the snow had me wishing I could get down closer but I would never put myself in a precarious spot. Warm regards, Leslie :) Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted June 8, 2009 I know, it's spring but was going through your portfolio & was immediately drawn to this image.Techincally a wonderfully composed image witha great tonal range, especially in the snow.Vvisually it creates a sense of quiet peacefullness. I don't feel Mikes feeling of coldness, the image to me is very warm. Can't count the times out for a winter stroll, stopping occassionally to admire a view & enjoy the absolute quietness of a winter day. Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
