The river Drava

On the left you can just see Croatia. This used to be a heavy guarded

border when the iron curtain was still there. Today people can simply

go to each others country for shopping...

At the time I shot this image it was cold... and I mean real cold...

freezing to the tripod, if you know what I mean. It's an HDR image, in

case you were wondering. Let me know what you think.

Wonderful muted colors and nice use of perspective. Flat glassy water contrasts nicely with the trees. Colors are marvelous; the viewer can feel the chill and hear the stillness of winter in this composition. Well done!

That's nice, to have such great reactions on this image. I must say that I'm quit happy with it myself, specialy if I see the enlargments I made.
