This was taken at 8:30 this morning under a cloudy sky. I was hoping for early

morning light. It was 4 degrees and my hands were so cold that I couldn't feel my

fingertips. So, I braced the camera on a railing. I couldn't set up my tripod. This falls

is the second largest east of the Mississippi. The water gets it's color from the tannins

in the trees. Please view larger, thank you!

This is a beautifull composition with a good viewpoint. If you don't mind a suggestion I think it would be improved with a tweaking of contrast. Warm Regards-Ross

Thank you, Ross! The mist that is thrown up by the falls presents a real challenge when trying to adjust contrast. I agree with you that a bit of extra contrast would be helpful on the left side of the frame. When I get the left looking good, I lose details on the right...an interesting challenge. Don't ever worry about making honest critical comments and suggestions. It's a great help and always helps me improve my work.

Warm regards,

Dick
