I am not sure I get what you are trying to show here. The centre one looks fine. Also the way it is done, the eye appears to be missing in the image on the left.

Thank you Alexander. C'mon David....you remember film...don't you? Remember the positive/negative thing? The image on the left and the right (partially) are negatives...since the one on the left has not been multiplied...the dark is light...or the eye is "missing".
