Where is the other foot?

I must tell this photo appeals me very much. I do not care about shooting birds or animals myself, nor do I normally shoot this kind of close-ups, but I would be very glad and proud if I had taken this photo, indeed!

Unfortunately there is some technical weakness present, probably because this is a crop of larger original? (Imagine if this were the original full frame capture!) But the shape of the bird and it's shadow, the fresh color of the feet, the light and the overall composition are just marvellous, so inspiringly different to what we see most of the time. In this particular case I would prefer a little less dominant signature on the frame. Bravo, Bruno!
