A little looser composition with the bloom placed in the lower RH corner would have provided more of a diagonal line (presenting a less static look) and at the same time removed any objection a viewer might have about a centered subject. A small reflector held under the bloom would have had the effect of brightening the orange center, providing more detail there. Otherwise, a great offering with perfect lighting for showing the delicate textures & colours of the petals. A keeper! Best, LM.
