Fear Of Time

The person whose eyes are in the pomegranate died soon after I did this image. He was my friend and I saw him for the last time when the picture was taken not knowing about the nature of his health situation. I only knew he had some spinal problems, but he was assuring me that it wasn't something really bad. That last time we had a good booze together and I could hardly wait to visit his town and him again, but the next news about him was that he had passed away!
