The trout was so big that it took this GBH over 5 minutes to swallow it down, and when it succesfully swallowed the trout it couldn't fly away!. Thank you for viewing, commenting and rating. nhut-nguyen 0 Posted January 10, 2009 Giangiorgio, he did swallow the fish. I was waiting for him to do so so I could photograph the fish going down his throat, but he turn away from me and did it. I moved to get a better angle but it was too late. Link to comment

ISO 3200 of the 40D is quite usable if you run your image through a noise removal software and if your image is not underexposed and heavily cropped. I used a nearby tree stump to rest my 400 f/5.6 and I also decreaseed the shutter speed to overexpose the image a bit. With a big catch this GBH couldn't move much, this allowed me to use slower shutter speed, I shot a burst of 5-6 shots and picked out the sharpest one. Link to comment
