paolo de faveri 1 Posted January 9, 2009 -12°C and even the rivers freeze. This is a side branch of the Po River's main stream: the water is pretty still here, however I never saw this body of water completely frozen and with the ice so thick that you could walk on it! Taken on Monday morning at sunrise. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks for your time Details: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, GND 8x, tripod. Double exposure blending. JimCowan 0 Posted January 9, 2009 Having commented on 'Ice-land #2', I would say that this image has even more atmosphere, though the light and tones are beautiful, the dark thin ice communicates danger and one can almost feel the cold. Link to comment

bruno_bizier 0 Posted January 21, 2010 Paolo, I must tell you I spent more time with your photos than with anyone else's in my whole 58 years of life! Thank you for sharing your pictures so generously! About ice and snow, I know a lot, living in the Gaspé peninsula of Québec, Canada. P.S.: Paolo, hai capito e leggere il francese? A me, io uso di traduzione di Google per scrivere in italiano. Ma so a memoria una frase in italiano:«L'italiano è la più bella lingua del mondo!» Bruno, en Haute-Gaspésie Link to comment
