I really like the composition but I would like to see the main portion of the flower with a bit more light.

Pamela this is a wonderful way to represent one of the most fascinating flower...the Calla Lily. I like the chromatism, the light, the angle of view this is extremely elegant photo

A very beautiful deliicate shot with a very good presentation.

The light in this image is beautiful, there is a white line of light along the rim of the blossom that nicely separates the subject from the background. Beautifully done!

Mark, I appreciate the critique and do agree in some ways. I shot this several times with many lighting options, what I was going for was a delicate transparency and this was the lighting that worked without losing the flower (whites) lines. I am learning much about lighting and always appreciate helpful advice. Thank you for stopping by :)
