I don't know which one I prefer of the last two posted. I would be interested actually to see a third version with the model looking at the viewer.

 

In both cases, a very interesting approach in period dress, reminiscent of the type of portrait that one woud encounter in the Prada. There is a wonderful rendering of the fine texure around the neck and the fabric of the dresss, and the colour scheme fits in perfectly with the background. Excellent work, bravo.

Dear John, thank you very much for your comment. I'm sorry but I have not a photo with the model viewing to the lens. Because it is a commission photo, I try to get the most pretty expression in her face, and I think this pose favours her. I like very much the model profile, and I'm going to post another photo with the model complety in profile. I hope you like that.

She's wearing beautiful clothes because she is the queen of "Magic Kings parade" in Alcala de Guadaira, a town near Sevilla where I live. All 5th of January there are this kind of parades in all towns of Spain. There are the Magic Orient Kings who carry presents for children and the model's role is the "Orient Star", the guide of Magic Kings in order to visit to just born Jesus.

This portrait is very good too. The picture saturation is very good.The halo around her, it is a little distracting for me, but also I think it add more impact.

Asi que mejor digo Bravo, que buen retrato.
