The Gulf of Poets (La Spezia's Gulf.)

This is a my interpretation of the Lerici's Castle with the little island of

the Tinetto, at the extremities of the Gulf of La Spezia, called the Gulf of

Poets for the reason this wonderful place was particularly loved by the

English romantic poets. In the sea of Lerici, dunring a storm, Lord

George Gordon Byron (1788-1824), died:...Ciaomau!

In my humble opinion it is a pity that you lost all details in the shadows. I assume that you wanted show silhuets only, but you overdid that. There are ways (f.i. in Photoshop) to handle highlights separately from shadow areas) to tune down almost outburned highlights without loosing details elsewhere. But the location and view is nice indeed. And your crop is o.k.
