Matthew Brennan 3 Posted January 6, 2009 A very natural presentation, lovely direct eye contact. Exposure on the right side top cheek and above right eye is a little bright for my liking, however, background is rendered neutral and is an asset to the image. Alec what is your feeling about cutting the crown of the head out in portrait shots like this? Call me a pedant but it's one of the first things I notice and have done so for a while in all manor of portraiture. Having said this her face is very well placed in the given framing. alecee 0 Posted January 6, 2009 Thanks Matthew, I know many photographers may crop more to highlight a head shot but I'm more into regular full portraits. i.e. not very bold. ^_^ Link to comment
