Great shot Karl, perfect exsposure, I like the scene with the road bending through the middle with the two hills and the tree. The sun from the left provides the shadows that break the white of the scene. Happy new year regards Carl

Wonderful winter image, with great composition, lighting and exposure. I particularly like the footsteps leading up to that grand snow covered tree.

Karl, this is one of the best winter images that I have ever seen! You have done an excellent job with the exposure and texture of the snow and the balance of light and color on the snow which is always a challenge.

My best to you!

It's different and really beautiful. Only I wish the passersby were like 10 meter closer. Still, it's great. I also like the blue!

Killing. And although I tend to seperate landscape and people, here the two figures push up the impression. All is at the right place, light, shadows, colours are a dream!

Incredibly well composed. Pity you did not catch those people on the horizon... but it would then be too perfect... ;-)

Thank you for your kind comment Karl, which I found really helpful (in fact processed the image again following your advice). I have seen through your gallery how you master landscape photography. I did like this one specially: the well balanced composition and perfect exposure rise this apparently simple landscape into a small masterpiece. Nice !

Best regards
