tonmestrom 4 Posted January 6, 2009 this looks kind of surreal and while the architect may have designed it you got the right kind of light to bring it out. Some nice complementary colours as well. Just as a matter of interest I wonder why you didn't crop the left out? And as far as a reciprocate answer is concerned you know me well enough by now to know how I feel about that. Do it if you want to by all means, but not because you feel obliged to ;-) Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted January 6, 2009 Bartosz and Ton thanks for for your kind comments. It interesting because I don't see this scene as "abstract", but as detail of a cityscape. This is why in my eyes it i important to keep the second tower behind in order to give the scene some depth. Still in my eyes it could however be the basis for an abstract, but then I would concentrate on the middle section of the first tower and crop everything else out. Link to comment
tonmestrom 4 Posted January 6, 2009 I wasn't talking about an abstract but it has a kind of surreal feel about it. I wouldn't consider such a drastic crop myself. Just to give you an idea what I mean...I think it still retains a lot of depth this way which I absolutely agree with you has to be there. Link to comment
AJHingel 127 Posted January 7, 2009 Yes I see what you mean Ton, but then I would crop out the bottom too. I still prefer my original, but this is of course fully subjective, but as mentioned one could crop out a part and end up on something sur-real or abstract. By the way people are working inside this thing and wondering what the hell went wrong in the financial sector! Link to comment

aginbyte 0 Posted February 22, 2009 ... have been away so long from PN that I've hungered for shots like this. I look at it greedily, reveling in the structure and the geometries. Thanks for posting this! Link to comment
