dougityb 0 Posted May 14, 2009 This kind of shot is fairly common where I work as there are hundreds of columns on the many academic buildings around the campus. I like the texture of this particular column, which is a bit unexpected as most people think of columns as polished marble, or such, but this is a brick structure dating back to the 1820's, covered with plaster and many coats of paint. Aside from that, I like the juxtaposition of the bare tree limbs as they reach into the column's space. Any other thoughts or observations would be welcomed. Link to comment
