Well, you are right - it is some kind of seed pod or something. It would help if you told us where you found it - in the grocery store, or in the woods, etc. My suggestion for your advertising logo would be to at least put it in the corner; it overwhelms where it is.

This thing was growing on a tree in central Virginia, poking straight up towards the sky from the branches. I'll have to drive by it again to note its other characteristics (leaves, bark, etc), to try to identify it. Weird looking thing, isn't it. In the year since posting this I have learned to make my logo more discrete, but my experience says that people either don't mind the presence of my logo, or hate it. No one has ever said they like it. Oh well. I can't please everyone.
