MichaelChang 12 Posted January 4, 2009 I was recently engaged in a discussion about seeing things in partials. This picture would have been a great example. Seeing Things in Part, Rather than as a Whole Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted January 5, 2009 Doug, I pondered this picture last night and have gained new insight (into seeing things in parts). It is posted in the above thread. I like the groomed hooves, their spacing, and the contrast between it and the two hind hooves of the other animal. This is a shot that wouldn't have occurred to me. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted January 5, 2009 Hey Mike, That's an interesting conversation, to be sure. Seems like we (photographers) have been shooting partials forever, considering any crop can be opened up a little more, and that no subject exists in a void. Even a void has boundaries, I would say. Glad you like the meat series, too. Link to comment
