Please view larger. This is the new blue lighting on Mantova's buildings

during the Christmas time in 2008. The color blue is to celebrate UNESCO.

Thank you if you would spend a little time to watch this photo and leave me a

sincere comment or a critique.

I add three 100% crops of some details... I'm very pleased from the results of Fujifilm Provia 100F slide: very fine grain and many details!

Alberto, Lovely light on the building, sky, and water. The image comes together nicely and makes me want to travel to this place. Best wishes for a happy 2009, Mark.

Hai catturato ed elaborato egregiamente questa insolita ed attraente illuminazione. Molto bello anche il riflesso. Perfetta esposizione e ottima scelta del taglio panoramico. Complimenti! (7/7 an.)

Especially if you ask the viewers to view this larger I don't quite understand why you have designed such a large border. It's quite stylish -you can imagine what it looks like hanging on the wall- but I would have preferred a bigger photo, with a small frame, if at all. Nice photo though.

Hi Theo, thank you for your sincere critique. I did not sacrify anything regarding the photo's dimensions for the frame: I wanted exactly these dimensions because I think they are enough to appreciate the photo on the web and not too large to prevent other uses beyond the copyrights :-)

Regarding the frame I'm afraid that you concentrates your attention on the frame only and not on the photo: the frame is a sort of "trademark" for the whole shots in my portfolio and I studied its dimensions and proportions to enhance the presentation of my shots.

Alberto.
