Alx 0 Posted December 30, 2008 Is it the same bird? Is it a collage? Beautiful graphic effect. Ciao, Alx Link to comment
nhut-nguyen 0 Posted December 30, 2008 Beautiful shot, you got them both in focus. I'm always into colorful birds, and these guys are the most colorful creature on our planet. Nice Image! Link to comment
knobby6 0 Posted December 31, 2008 Very cool inflight shot. Rarely see a flying parrot shot. 6/7 Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted December 31, 2008 Nice of you to comment Fransisco, Alex I am so pleased you like the picture. It is even better if you see it larger and in answer to your question,it is not the same pair and is not a collage, in fact the picture is unmanipulated, apart from the border, if one would call that manipulation. Thank you for your comment Sinh,I guess that the choice of f5.6 and 1/1250 sec. was a reasonable choice as the birds are more or less on the same plane. And they are very colourful indeed. They say that they have the intelligence of a five year old child, so if one had a parrot as a pet one would have a permanent toddler in the house..-:). Hi Monte, a comment like that, coming from an expert is particularly pleasing, thank you. Link to comment

dgv 1 Posted January 1, 2009 Thanks very much Ahmet, I appreciate your comment. Thanks Christine, is a lesson for me too..-:). After Monte’s comment and now yours, I wonder why an anonymous rater thinks that this is an ordinary picture, love to know why. Thanks Alberto, the newborn is still on my mind!!! Vicente thank you for your comment and good wishes, may we all feel the beauty that surround us. Janusz, thank you for dropping in and thanks for your good wishes. Alex, this photo is as authentic as can be and the sky is the original one. I will send you the RAW file if you like. I think the colour of the parrots and the fact that it was a very bright and clear afternoon gives it the ‘’surreal’’ appearance. Yalcin, I appreciate your comment. Hi John, thank you very much. I wish you a warm and happy time with your family in Montreal. A place that I never visited, but I hear that is absolutely gorgeous. Link to comment
