leo burkey 0 Posted December 29, 2008 Death Valley is made up of a variety of landscapes, the most famous being it's sand dunes. Another area of great beauty is Zabriskie Point, with it's myriad of colors and rock formations. This image was captured just before sunrise at the Zabriskie Point overlook. Link to comment
moabphoto 0 Posted December 30, 2008 I think this is the best photo I've seen of Zabriskie Point, Leo. Gorgeous in every respect. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted December 31, 2008 This really is a painting; I don't quite know how you do it, but it is very, very good! Beautiful composition and ublime post-processing. Excellent work. I believe that your Zabriskie Point work is honestly some of the best I've ever seen. Happy New Year; and where's our next adventure gonna be? Cheers! Chris (The Bear) Link to comment

rbanfield 0 Posted January 5, 2009 could have sworn I commented on this but guess not. You know how I feel about Zabriskie Point, it has to be one the most photogenic places on our small blue planet. Gotta agree with the Bear. Looks like a painting! one very cool painting I have to add. You aptly titled it too because of those really warm earthtones. Isn't it a wonder how one location can turn out so many great photographs? So where are the 3 Amigos going next? Death Valley, Yosemite Valley or maybe the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley or ?????. ...Lefty Link to comment
