Ian, what a beautiful bird you've captured. You've got all the components with that colorful and textured background and that nice light colored bird. Too bad part of his head is obscured and it seems a bit soft. Nice work.

Thanxs The photo in prints seems to be sharper, I was very happy that the photo turned out at all. It was shot on a tripod @ 300mm F3.2 1/30 sec iso320. At higher iso you seem to lose some of the vivid color and to make matters worse using a polarizer filter slowed down the shutter even more and without the filter I think most of the vivid color would have been lost.
