The subject is, for me anyway, very stiff and "posed" I would just suggest allowing her to gain a more natural and casual manner, given that she is in simple clothing and in an outdoor setting? Drawing her hands together, hidden by her upper leg, also tells us she's not relaxed. She also left her hair band on her wrist and this is a slight distraction as well... again, only my personal observations. Technically and exposure wise, this is ok, it's the pose and use of setting that I think could do with some experiments... Thanks for sharing your work/portrait Link to comment
aldrich 0 Posted December 29, 2008 Frederick, Thank you very much. For a while I have known that one of my weaknesses with portraits is encouraging creativity, both from myself and clients. I think I worry so much about the background that i forget about the foreground. This is something I am working on. Thank you for your feedback. --Ryan Link to comment
