paolo de faveri 1 Posted December 27, 2008 Well, not exactly a blizzard like those they're used to have in Canada, however -9°C, snow and wind blowing at 60 kph is something pretty unusual here in northern Italy, particularly in the country at no more than 300 m of altitude. I took this picture this evening a few minutes after sunset, and a few hours after the storm had calmed down. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks for your time. Details: Eos 50D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, tripod. Double exposure blending, stitch of four vertical frames. Link to comment
gunn 0 Posted December 27, 2008 Strange to see that there is more winter in Italy than here on the coast were I am living in Norway! Anyway, a very nice and pleasing photograph! Happy Seasonal greetings! ;-) Link to comment
whydangle 0 Posted December 27, 2008 Hey Paulo, this is expertly done. From your description, this is many exposures combined, not just pano stitching, but also multiple exposure blending. This is something that takes alot of patience, yet gives amazing results. I might suggest, for additional work, trying a few more severe under-exposures for the brightest area of the sky to make sure you retain all three channels of info. It just gives you more detail in that area near the setting sun. So much for shop talk, the photo is going straight to my favs folder. Merry Christmas and and a Healthy, Prosperous and Photographic New Year to you and yours!!! Link to comment

tmjacobs 0 Posted July 2, 2009 Again, very nice colors & composition. I have some similar photos taken in the Netherlands. Your postprocessing is good, it looks very natural. Perhaps the smaller twigs are a tiny bit oversharpened. Link to comment
