Nice technique for softening the image. (see technical details) Some of us pay mucho dollars for a glass filter which creates a similar look. Panty hose left behind from one of your nude studies? :-) This is my favourite of your 3 current similar offerings. Love the lighting pattern on her face. Reminds me of an old English portrait painting though it's cooler in tone than some of those I'm remembering. Some merging of her hair with the dark area behind her and her arm could use some toning down. Beautiful expression though & that's really the essence of a portrait isn't it? Nice piece of work in any case. I also like the intimate 'eyes locked on camera' look. Merry Christmas, LM.

Len, I never did pantyhose shootings, so far. Maybe I should try that ?

 

BTW , regarding the other pictures of this session I fixed the piece of the pantyhose in front of the flash to get softer light. I tried that the first time and I am happy with the results.
