Terrific image and especially the twister in the foreground. Great composition and perfectly executed. 6/7 - and why not a 7/7 - I know that the rust brown color in the water is probably naturally ocurring but I am still trying to decide if I like it or not - just a personal preference in this aesthetic world of art and photography. Simon, you must know that I am not trying to diminish the value of this fine image just offering an opinion. Best wishes for the Christmas Season to you and your loved ones. PS just wished the low-scored anon raters would offer a comment about their dislikes - it could be so helpful.

Really I don't understand low anonymous ratings for this shot! I prefer honest comments as Tony's one! In my opinion this is a wonderful shot, technically perfect. I love the composition and the brown color of the water is natural and important to create a graphic separation between water and snow.
