I think that is a nice looking image and the dog can be seen just fine on my screen. I like the composition as well.

Congrats

Alex

Yeah Tim, you wanna paint that dog black for us :-)

Seeing your pal here in the deep snow reminds me of how much your two, look like my two. These critters were built for heavy snow and cold weather. Mine stay out all day this time of year , I'm sure they would stay out all night too, if I let them.

All the best of the season to you Tim and that goes for your buddies and the rest of your family. May 2009 be filled with happiness, good health and lots more of those fine images of yours.

Gordon, it is snowing again this morning and I am getting set to take the mutts out in it. You are right, they love the snow and cold. I wish you and your family the best this holiday season and wish us all luck in 2008. I love your photos and your attitude. Where do you have the shot of the building that you put in the gloom N/W forum? I love that photo and want to put it in my favorites.

I just got back indoors after blowing and shoveling the 6 in. that fell last night. The weatherman is forecasting rain this afternoon.... maybe we'll get some fog :-)

Next on the list is strapping on the snowshoes to pack down the dog walking trail. The snow is so deep in the bush now that the two mutts sink up to their armpits if they step off the trail.

The photo you mentioned is in my Recent Uploads folder.

Well I'm off again, back into the snow. Enjoy your walk.

Tim, a wonderful image of your friend! snow is so magical. i do sometimes miss the way it turns the world as we know it into a magical kingdom, but i don't miss driving in it or shoveling it! i wish you and your family a wonderful hoilday season and all of the best in the year to come. Linda

Hi Linda! I don't think I will miss the shovelling and driving in the snow either once I get the heck out of Wisconsin. I definitely won't miss Wisconsin's high taxes and lax drunken driving laws.
