Ah, so he's back.... Again I say, mighty fine detail and you caught a great that great pose. Any chance you can selectively drop the values in the white and bring them up in the black parts? I know how tough these darn bright shots are. Thanks again for the tech details.

beautiful shot, beautiful wing pose, I like his hair cut. The chest feathers look burned out too me. I wonder how we can fix that. I get that all the time with the western grebes too.

Guess I'll have to pay more attention to editing, which I hate, or better yet get it right coming out of the camera. Can't get away with anything with all the keen eyes.
