Neil: i wanted some more unusual composition, and this is how i imagined this scene. the idea came when i tried it with a longer lens, and i saw in the viewfinder an even more cropped image than this. then tried at 24mm and i found this was the optimal composition what i was looking for. further than, i dont wanted the top of the tree to cross the horizon line. cheers!
