Pnina;

The most intriguing result of this photo is the way in which the veil and the women have blended to become one. I am left with the impression that the dancer is made of smoke, as if her essence is becoming free to be blown upon the breeze.

Amazing work . . . The veil accentuates the subject's beautiful face and features perfectly. You also created an interesting effect in that it's tough to distinguish the veil from the subject's hair.

My compliments, as always, on your artistry and talent . . .

michael

PS Please do not think that you hurt my feelings by not connecting with the abstract. Honest feedback is just that - honest. I would expect nothing else from you.

I do need to share a bit about that shot. I've not read the Zohar, and I'm ashamed to admit I've probably forgotten more about my faith than I learned when I was much younger. However, I consider myself a mystic in somewhat of a universalist sense. This shot was intended as a manifestation of creation, as we all are manifestations of creation.

BTW, I plan on working on some shots that are a bit more identifiable as expressions of my Judaism. Stay tuned . . .

Hello Pnina, This suggest to me a dreamy style perhaps something from back in the 1920's........And it is very good......Jim

Gopi, and Afshin thanks for your feedback.

Gord, reading your impression feels like my desire to express the spirit of the dance , working with dance for a long time, I search constantly for arriving deeper in expressing the spirit of what the dance language want to express.The deep meaning of connecting the soul of life expressed by a movement , narrative, and mien.Thanks for letting me know that my search touched you.

Adan, thanks as well for expressing your feelings . It feels close after we have met face to face.

I love the toning, and the lovely balance between detail and motion. There's some slight tension in her expression, but fluidity of motion. Beautiful capture.

strongly exprressive and live image....she seems to abandon herself to her innner feeling and your image captures that very naturally with a great sense of movement.....
