1st Snow over Lonesome Lake
I hunkered down under a bush alonside Lonesome Lake for about 3 hours, hoping the areas 1st snow storm would partially clear above the peaks of Franconia Ridge. It was very cold and windy, and the small bushes provided a little protection. I had hoped a moose would pass in front of me, but no luck. A break in the clouds lit up the range, and I was able to get off acouple of frames before the sun was lost. It was over an hour of waiting before sunset, but by then the area had clouded over with thick grey clouds.
