Untitled

Taken with Mamiya 90mm and 82mm Extension tube. Lighting was late afternoon, outdoors with no props or fill, and is entirely natural. I sometimes use a stem brace or warming filter, but nothing more. I waited until the wind dropped to a momentary calm before tripping my mirror and then my shutter. Depth of field was so tight on this shot I could push on the ground next to my tripod and move the plane of focus. Such is macro work with 6x7 format, which tends to be far more difficult and critical than 35mm.
