paolo de faveri 1 Posted December 12, 2008 Although this might look like a dawn picture, that's not. I took it tonight at around 3AM, and it's a nice combination of different light sources: moonlight on the snow in the foreground, and the city lights of Turin (more than 30 kms. away!) shining through the clouds and mist in the background. Your C&C are as always welcome, thanks for your time. Details: Eos 50D, Canon EF 70-300, tripod. 84" @f11 Link to comment
PeterKrenek 26 Posted December 12, 2008 Had you not told the story, we would not guess. What were you doing there at 3AM - except for taking photos :-) ? The result is very nice. You composed well despite the darkness. I consider composing in the dark to be the most difficult part of night photography. I attach a suggestion with a small change. Best wishes. gordonholman 1 Posted December 12, 2008 Very nice! Superb if that, How about that 50D ? I herd the ISO gets quite noisy in the 2300 range or higher? All around is still a superb camera by Canon, I can't decide what to get the 50, or the 5D MX11, would like to fool around with the movie option? I can definitely tell in the detail and contrast you used the 50D, well done ! Link to comment
