davidclapp 0 Posted December 11, 2008 What were you doing sat in the warm last night when you could have been out taking photos on the moors in -3....? Come on now, jump to it. This is my trusty Moon Buggy, a 1960 Morris Minor, it's the my photo mobile of choice. I did it up from a complete wreck, it had four black wings, a rotted boot, rust all over the place, 1 seat ( the drivers seat fortunately!) no carpet, no headlining or anything of any luxury. The heater just about works and my feet get rather cold when I drive it, but it sure does makes you smile. Character goes a long way in my book. Just to mention I have a lamb sat in my hallway right now, I rescued it from a field, it was being attacked buy a buzzard and some crows at first light. paolo de faveri 1 Posted December 11, 2008 ahahah Dave, you can believe me if I tell you I laughed so much at reading your photomobile description that I almost died!Oh my, that car is just fantastic! It could really be a Lupin III car too! I'm sure this pic will do extremely well, it's just perfect for home decor, wall art, posters, etc. Great job!Paolo Link to comment
jmarcraveau 0 Posted December 12, 2008 Beautiful image and car. This modele looks like, at least on this image, as a Renault 4CV. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted December 12, 2008 Fabulous photograph! Bordering on surrealistic! Do get out and photograph in the moonlight tonight, as the moon will be some 8,000 miles closer than normal. Stay warm, and keep on sharing your wonderful vision of the world with us. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

tonyarnold 0 Posted December 29, 2008 Hi David recently joined site and only started to contribute today and i come across this! My first car-i had a 1956 model (convertible) that cost me £50....yours must be around that time as it has the indicators that you have to hit now and again from the inside! However i dont see a split screen so maybe 1960 or so? I had a two door 64 model that i drove round Europe in and owned for years. 1100 cc and cruised at 70mph. If they werent so overpriced i would buy one! Still like old cars..let my wife drive the newer one while i now love the '87 Honda Prelude. Best car i have driven! Oh yes your photos..they are very good. You understand lighting well and time of day. Pro or amateur...not that it necessarily makes a difference. I have been photographing professionally now for about 15 years full time. Just produced a book on Richmond in Surrey-big layout financially but have now broken even...maybe you should do same Good luck Tony Link to comment
